La Petite Artiste

My three year old daughter has started drawing portraits. On our art line you can see her two latest masterpieces. The portrait on the right is of her mom and baby brother. I am the "one with the big head". What amazes me are the expressions of her people. Her pupil placement especially evokes a certain feeling. Also note the birds, sun and clouds. It just cracks me up. I have a feeling I will have a more difficult time weeding out her artwork than I have had with her big brothers various robot and monster truck drawings. Be still my heart!

This makes me smile!

Are you ready for the winter apocalypse? I'm trying to decide if we can get through the weekend on 2 gallons of milk. Where's our cow? ;)

Audra this is awesome. My little Lizzie also 3 drew her first defined picture the other day. She comes to me hands me her paper and says "mommy DUCKY" and it actually looks like a duck. So thrilling!

After you take these pieces of priceless artwork of your artline (btw the artline is such a simple and great idea), put them in the clear page-protector sleeves and store them in a binder. Each child can have a binder (decorated on the front)to show Grandma and guests.
